My experience is very similar to that of Janie from Alabama on another Rip-off Report. In my case, I was contacted by a woman named Alyssa Gould who said the company could sell my timeshare for $28,500 and their sale rate was 95%. I didn't even sign a contract with them and was out $500. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and filed a complaint with the North Carolina AG, and in each case, a woman named Brandy Curtis from Copeland made up lies to confuse the issue and refused a refund. Look, this company is not going to return your money when you individually challenge them. What the victims need to do is follow the steps recommended by Vicky in another post and file complaints with those agencies (repeated below), and try to get a class action suit against the company.

Attorney general of Florida, Charlie Crist 1-866-966-7226
Central Florida BBB 407-621-3300
Department of Agriculture, Charles Bronson 800helpfla
Consumer Sentinel Project Team in Washington DC 877-382-4357

I also suggest filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.

You can file your complaints with these agencies online by accessing their websites.

The BBB reports well over 100 complaints against Copeland. If all of you do your part and report your experiences to the above agencies, you'll be helping yourselves and others.

** How the owners and employees of Copeland Marketing can maintain a clear conscience knowing full well what they're doing is beyond me. I applaud Vicky for having the courage and decency to try to atone for a past mistake.

"Vicky" does not exist. Leroy Chase pretends to be Vicky an ex telemarketer of Copeland Marketing Corp. CMC utilises cutting edge marketing in order to connect buyers with sellers. Lee has a mental deficiency and has committed felonies in his ludacris crusade to harm a good company. If you are still interested in help with the marketing of your vacation proeprty please contact Diane at 1-800-269-0143 ext 101.
