I paid $600 in 9/05, and after not hearing anything in 6 months, I started calling the company in February of this year. I made about 13 phone calls. Unfortunately, I didn't document them, because I didn't know for sure until recenting that they were scamming me.
Besides losing the $600, I will also be losing a 2br vacation place for christmas week, because I don't
have the money to fly and use it myself, not to mention I have to pay my $900 maint. bill in January, which is what I planned on using the rental
money for.

Anyways, sorry to ramble on but I'm SO mad, I don't know what to do, and I'm glad to see I'm not in this alone, although I wish none of us had gotten scammed by these people.

The original person who called me was Jackie Garrett, then she pawned me off to her so-called secretary Miranda, then it was Joann McLaughlin, who said that Diane's relative would rent it, and then that fell through.

I have made about 13 calls to this place over the last 8 months, and they even went as far as telling me there was a death in the family as an excuse the last time, which I'm sure wasn't true.

I've decided not to call anymore, because my nerves get too bad, and financially I really didn't have the money to do it, but I paid off the credit card I used, so now I can't even dispute it. Uggggghhhhhh

I hope we all get help somehow down the line.
Thanks so much,

Trish

Copeland Marketing & Royal Elite Timeshare Scam

#2Consumer Comment

Wed, November 20, 2013

This company contacted me with all the right answers. They said my Royal Elite timeshare would be easy to sell and it would be sold 30-60 days, but no way it would last over 90 days. James made sure I would be able to answer my phone for all the offers. I would have to be able to say yeah or nah on the offers. It's been over 3 months and I have not received one offer nor have I heard from James to discuss any issues. This company is a joke and I warn everyone to stay clear. They got $750 out of me and I am sure they will try to get more out of you
