I was employed as adjunct professor by Copper Mountain Community College in Joshua Tree, Ca. from the Spring semester of 2006 to the spring semester of 2011.

For 11 semesters my classes were generally full. There were very few complaints from my students regarding my performance. I had put together presentations that took hundreds of hours to compile. My syllabus was perfect. According to the report filed by the acting Dean of Academic Affairs, everything was in order.

In the fall of 2010, my then-husband, Bruce W. Bridenbecker, another teacher who had risen in the ranks to become the college's  Division Chair of Arts and Sciences, openly had an affair with one of his students. He and she were walking around the CMC campus holding hands and telling others they they were married. Which of course was a lie. He was married to me. Since all 3 of us worked there, the embarrassment and pain I suffered was immense. I wanted to die. I really did. No one on the campus cared enough to even approach me abou it. Some of their friends thought it was great and were laughing about it.

Bruce and his w***e were taking MASSIVE doses of Oxycontin and Soma. He had been addicted to these drugs for a about 12 years. Bruce was stumbling around campus, slurring his lectures, unable to do his own work properly, passing out in his office and in front of people, crashing his car, failing to write his tests and quizzes. He also in that time, moved this other woman into our other home.

In order to save himself the embarrassment of being caught in the huge web of lies he spun for himself, he insisted on divorcing me. He tried to hide our divorce date on the county website but could not.

In order to keep me quiet, he told me that she was a passing fling...bla, bla, bla...many, many lies...all the while he was "just going through the motions" of divorce-with "no intention of really doing it"

In Spring of 2011 I was FIRED from CMC. Not him. ME. for no reason other than he was tenured and I was not.

NOW I find that Copper Mountain Community College's Office of Research and Development has published in-house statistics that are flatly wrong regarding my student success rate...by over 30%

In August of 2015, Copper Moutain Community College's Office of Research and Development published my student success rate as 42.4% overall.

The Chancellors Office of California Community Colleges records my overall student success rate as 77.1% a percentage deficit of over 33%

The college kept Bruce who, by all rights should have been fired for his MANY trysts with both students and teachers and fired me, on his word that I was inadequate and 1/2 crazy. Who would not be 1/2 crazy to discover that your spouse and partner of 10 years was doing drugs with his students and having sex with them-and teachers too? He took Barbara Fredette, a biology teacher to Hawaii with him when we were engaged!

NOW CMC is publishing lies about my academic achievements?

I believe that there is more.

When in Europe last summer, I kept getting notified through my cell phone that documents with my name on them were being edited at CMC.

I'm certain that documents were created in order to discredit my effectiveness as a teacher. I'm sure that the "Rosati-Violantes lawsuit" iI was notified of in Italy is a joke. Not real. It was fabricated.  I have reason to suspect that it was sent to an educational archive. Bruce was working at CMC all summer, and I suspect that he forged several "official" records regarding my academic "inadequacies"

I have a 43,000.00 student loan that is going unpaid, and debts. I have gotten exactly no call backs for work. I have been applying for for 4 years! NOTHING. The college made a serious mistake keeping Bruce on staff. he should have been fired 10x over. I have MUCHO edidence of forgeries and lies...Now all I need is an aggressive prosecution lawyer with no ties to the college. There is $$$ to be had here. Any takers?

The original claim of 33% deficit for student success scores was based on an invalid rubric…ooops.

For this I render my apologies to the statisticians at CMC.

HOWEVER...a 13% deficit is STILL  pretty shabby!

What gives?
