Complaint Review: Coral Springs Auto Mall

After visiting this location, Coral Springs Auto Mall, I was quoted a price of $21,000 OTD (Out the Door.) The sales manager, Neal Wolf, put the price of $21,000 in writing and assured me that this would be the final price of the New 2009 Honda Accord EX-L with Navigation.
Because I live a long distance from this dealership, I wanted to ensure that there would be no misunderstanding, so I called the next morning to to verify the price on this exact vehicle and I was again assured that the "out the door" price of $21,000 would be honored.

After spending several hours gathering required paperwork and preparing my trade-in vehicle, I made the long trip to Coral Springs Auto Mall in my 17 year old conversion van with no air conditioning during rush hour traffic and in 95 degree weather.
After arriving at this location, I again confirmed the price while double checking the vehicle in person. After spending over an hour completing paperwork for the final purchase, Neal Wolf came to the desk and said that he had made a mistake and the actual price would be $2000 more than what he had previously quoted on several occasions. This sounded an awful lot like "bait and switch" to me.

What makes this even worse is that I had been quoted a price of $22,000 for an identical car at a dealerhsip much closer to my house. In fact, I had even been warned by the other dealership that the salesman at the Coral Springs Auto Mall may be using some "bait and switch" tactics.

During the discussion, Neal Wolf became very defensive, rude, and arrogant. I will never purchase a car from this dealership and I would reccomend that no one else does as well. I would certainly question the integrity and honesty of the sales managers at this location.
