I ordered product for free trial period, you pay shipping and handling only, but I was suddenly hit with charges of $180. Called Customer Service & spoke with Holly who said there was a 14 day trial period in which I had 14 days to cancel and if I did not cancel within the 14 days I would be charged full price for the product. This information was not disclosed on the website where I ordered the product.
I happened to have called on the 14th day & asked for my account to be cancelled and $ refunded since I was still within the 14 day trial period. I was told I did not meet the requirements although I was caling on the 14th day. I pointed this out repeatedly to the Rep & was continued to be told I would not receive a refund, but my account would be closed.
I asked who the manager was & asked to speak directly with them. She said there were many managers, I asked for a managers name & again to be transferred to one. Rep continued to repeat the trial period was 14 days my account would be closed but no refund.
I continued to ask for a Manager, Rep said she would talk to manager about refund, I disagreed and told her I wanted to talk to the manager directly. Rep continued to refuse to let me speak to a manger. Conversation became extremely heated, she said I was rude, I wasn"t going to talk to anyone, said she was disconnecting the call and proceeded to hang up on me.
I called back and got a different Rep by the name of Kapone and asked to speak to a manager. He said my issue did not warrant a conversation with a manager and he was helping me. I asked him for a managers name,he said I would have a wait time of up to an hour if I did speak to a manager and I told him that was fine I had all night.
He again said I didn't need a manager, this was a misunderstanding on my part regardng how I would be charged. He then stated he would give a 50% discounted price, but if I still wanted to speak to a manager I would not be given the discount. I asked for a physical stree address, location of Corporate office, owner of company, etc.
Rep continued to tell me he was assisting me and I didn;t need this info. I asked why I could nt be given any of this info or even a managers name & I was continued to be told this was my fault because I misunderstood the terms and conditions of their policy. Nothing could be told to me other than I would not get a refund.
I continued to dispute there was no 14 day trial mentioned and website said you could cancel anytime and I had found many complaints and negative reviews and they were a scam. He said there was no such thing on the web, they were a good company and had just opened a new location, of which of course he could tell me no location or information.
I again told him info. was not disclosed on the site I ordered from & I asked for a copy of the terms and conditions be sent to me. Again I was told I could not be given a copy and I would not get one. I did not get any resolution other than canceling my account with them. Nothing could be told to me other than my account would be closed, but not receive a refund.
I went back to the website to review & filled out info as if I was ordering the trial again. On the site it does not state there is a 14 day trial, it says it is a free trial, just pay shiping and handling. You may cancel your trial at any time with no commitments for any reason and it is a limited time offer.
This company is deceitful, dishonest and fraudulant. It is disgusting they are allowed to continue to steal from people and get away with it.
