Cornerstone Corporation manages Rockland Place Apts. Please see the website that they disapprove of and have deceptively retaliated against - http://www.geocities.com/rocklandp/ - From a human rights perspective, it is frightening to think that Cornerstone Corp. (aka too many to list)is responsible for subsidized complexes all across the United States and that our government supports this corporation. There needs to be an honest and impartial investigation on this firm. I suspect them to be involved in deceptive and fraudulent insurance and debt collection practices.

Tenants who report violations, etc., have been overbilled by as much as $3400. in rent. This is just one of Management's strategies to get some unrepresented, low-income tenants to move. In mediation, the Corporate lawyer attempts to intimidate and confuse tenants into signing one-sided legal agreements because judges don't have sufficient time to hear your case. If you persuade Cornerstone to sign a two-sided legal agreement, they never honestly follow through on their end anyway; this definitely includes their occupancy agreement.

Cornerstone Corp. refuses to comply with laws when a tenant requests insurance information on the property, etc. Cornerstone prefers discrediting and evicting disabled, head-of-household female tenants who have complained to authorities. They keep most tenants who intimidate in groups, threaten, are violent, or involved in suspicious illegal activities. I am pleading with anyone empowered to investigate the abusive and deceptive people at Cornerstone Corporation. They have attempted to push decent,law-abiding tenants into the street to house just the opposite.
