I have been issued a number of prize guarantees, the last one with a deadline of 03/23/2007 for my response. I sent the response timely (as I have since 01/22/2007), with confirmation by me checking the 'yes' box regarding the press release, etc.

The press release stated that '(I) IS AN OFFICIAL WINNER IN THE CPHQ SWEEPSTAKES.' "THE CERTIFIED CHECK FOR $10,000 WAS DELIVERED DIRECTLY TO (me) IN city), MD. "CONGRATULATIONS (me)."

As of this date, I have NOT YET RECEIVED THE CERTIFIED CHECK FOR $10,000 that was supposed to be delivered within 30 days of my response. I received the Press Release on 3/16/2007, and mailed it back to you on 3/17/2007, many days ahead of the 3/23/2007 deadline.

Please forward my winning check for $10,000 at your soonest convenience, as I should have received it by 04/23/2007, as stated in paragraph headed 'IMPORTANT: "Your winning escrow number will be processed immediately and your check will be mailed within 30 days."

Please forward my $10,000 check and issue the press release. Thank you for your prompt attention to this request.

Were you supposed to select some subscriptions to something?
Were you supposed to send some kind of clearance fee?
Maybe their text really read something like "You are a garanteed winner (if your number is selected)..."
And what light-grey-on-white mouse print weasel words were attached to the 'yes' box regarding the "press release"?

AFTER several 'garantees' that have produced nothing favorable for you, it sorta looks like a waste of your time... if you are lucky.
