I have been dealing with this "secret shopper" company since December 2011.  I have been dealing with A LOT of BULL SH*T from a associate there by the name of Jennifer Lieber & her suppervisor Amy Williams. Anytime I send in information & Jennifer gets it. 90% of the time it is refused. She finds reasons why to not except my reports. It is only her. No one else has rejected a report from me. I have constantly reached out to Jennifer's supervisor & today she told me that me saying Jennifer Nit Picks is in correct. I even sent Amy the emails. Below you will find the emails. Plus Jennifer gets rude a lot. Not soo much in this email. But other emails she gets down right rude.

Okay but what really funny with that is that she said I had to purchase it before doing my shop. Just go ahead n take me off your companies list. I will expect my last and final payment when due. I will also reported to the BBB. Jennifer is so wishy washy. I am so done with her & now she is being stood up for? I will stay with the company I have been with for 5 years & actually wants me to work for them. And actually appreciates what I do. And actually shows gratitude.

Jen is not nit picking your reports. Jen is the QA person in my office, and she is the only one that deals with ALL of the errors that come thru on the editing queue, with the exception of Exxon shops. With that said, I will try to explain the problem with your report to you: 

For a return shop, you must first buy an item. You do not perform any aspect of the shop while you are making this initial/first purchase. At minimum after the first/initial purchase, you return to the store, perform the exchange/return and then complete the rest of the mystery shop, ending with a second purchase. The mystery shop needs to be a minimum of 30 minutes spent in the store.

Here are the job instructions:

Return Shop Requirements

This is a return shop, which will need to be performed in a different manner from a typical Bed Bath & Beyond mystery shop. Please note the following:

You will begin this assignment by entering the store and selecting an item for purchase. The item in which you choose does not matter as you will be returning it shortly (if you have previously purchased an item from Bed Bath & Beyond and would like to return it, you may use said item for the return portion of your shop). Purchase the item, making sure not to perform any evaluations at that time, collect a receipt and leave the location. Return to the location no sooner than 30 minutes and no later than 3 hours after making your initial purchase. Upon returning to the store, take the item you originally purchased to an open register and inform the associate that you would like to return it. This should prompt the associate to ask if you wish to exchange the item; if offered, you should accept (if you are not asked if you would like to exchange the item, inform the associate that you have changed your mind and would like to exchange instead of returning the item). Please note that all Front End Service evaluations should be performed during this portion of your shop. After being offered to an exchange, you should begin performing all standard Bed Bath & Beyond evaluations (i.e. restroom, store cleanliness, sales floor interactions), spending no less than 30 minutes to do so. Upon completing all restroom and sales area evaluations, select a second item for which you will exchange with the item you originally purchased (remembering that your reimbursement will not exceed $8). You will be required to upload an itemized receipt that clearly lists the original purchase item and the exchange item. Failure to upload this itemized receipt may result in your shop being voided, meaning you will not receive a commission or reimbursement.

With these instructions listed, you have reported that you entered for your mystery shop at 7:49, which is the time on the return and final purchase receipt. You cannot make your final purchase until after you have performed the mystery shop, i.e. University in Training, cleanliness, employees, etc. Your final purchase should have been performed when you stated that you exited the store, which was 8:20 p.m.

I am getting so tired of having to deal with Jennifer. I just told her exactly what I did. When I did go to find something to exchange it with I went back within like 5 minutes. How is that not quick enough? Am I expected to grab something next to me & buy that? She said I had to do it a certain way..... I DID.... I DID exactly what she just said I had to. She is always nit picking over my reports. Never fails. 

She is the only one who has not approved my reports. If you look at my reports, she is the only one who doesn't take them. I never have any problems except from her. This is getting SO RIDICULOUS..... I even sent both receipts to show the times. She asked for times so I told her the times I what I did. Now she is TRYING to say I did it wrong. How did I do it wrong when I said exactly what she said I had to do? Makes no sense? I walked in the store at about 7:45pm. I finished exchanging at 7:49 (per the receipt).  This is what I told her in the previous email. How is that not right? I put that I started the return shop at 7:49 (which is when I began going through the store to finish doing the look over. For instance going to the restroom & seeing the associates at work while I am on my way there & on my way back). I was done & ended the second (return shop) at 8:20pm., this is when I did my actual shop. How is this not right?

When you arrive, you must take your item to customer service, and either make the return, or have your item held for an exchange. You are then to complete all aspects of the shop. I am going to send you both receipt. The original one where I bought the item so I can take it back. Then the one where I went back to exchange / return (what ever option I had). I did buy a lot the first time because they had a AWESOME clearance sale going on & people were buying like crazy. So yes I did buy a lot. However I did return two of the cups later (second receipt) & exchanged it for the large plates that were still there.

Yes I understand this but when I put the "unknown" in it nothing popped up for me to do so. I didn't know where to put it. I have never done a Bed Bath 7 Beyond before.

Associate #3: Unknown Name (Bade was turned to where I couldn't see it) / Male / Aprox: 5ft 9in / Short Brown Hair / Caucasian / Standing in the kitchen baking items area / he was standing watching the front end registers / The associate did not greet me / Did not verbally communicate with me / Did not smile / Associate did smile at me when I looked at him.

Can you please let me know if there was suppose to be a "pop" up window come up or should I have put it in the comments. But even then the comments only allow so much.

Do not work for this company because they do not care about anything but getting their reports done & not treating their auditors with respect. So if your looking for a company to do secret shopper stuff with go to Trendsource. They are AWESOME! I have been with them since 2007. Haven't had any problems. Plus they pay more!!!
