Complaint Review: Correctional Billing Services

Correctional Billing Services (Evercom) I opened a pre-paid account so I can get calls from inmate at Santa Clara County Main Jail. I opened it with $58.00, I was able to get calls as long as I had money on the account. If the $50.00 was used up a block would be put on my phone, but that didn't happen. Mechanicsburg Rhode Island

i opened account with evercom to get calls from a inmate at santa clara county main jail. i put $50 on the account, i was able to get calls as long as there was money onthe account put that didn't happen. it was pre-paid account my account wasn't to go over $50, if it did i was no longer to get calls. i got calls for 5days, after the 5th day there was a block on my phone, i called evercom and asked what my bal. was they told me $50, I still didn't get any call from the inmate i called evercom back when they told me i owed them $247. i asked why they said they would email a copy of the calls. i got the email and the calls i got were for the weekend calls only and they didn't add up to $247. they total $ 81. so i would like to know where they get i owe them $247.
