I started using this service several months ago because my son is in a correctional facility in the same city I live. i was told that i had to do a quick collect to tnetix codecity collectcall tx so i did and i had to call them because my calls would not come through. i was then able to recieve a call and had to call again.

on 3/27/07 i spoke with a carol sho told me my line was clear i recieved one call blocked again i then spoke with veronica on 3/26/07 same situation .i spoke with a jean that evening ,i then spoke with dave at the oregon office and was told i had to call18008446591 which is customer service .i then spoke with patrice same thing and on 4/3/07 i then spoke with teresa and she told me that i have to do another money transfer because there was only $13.00 on the account and there has to be $15.00.

never was told this in the beginning.dave who is located in oregon told me that i should not have to call each time and that my line needs to validated to recieve calls that didnot work. each quick collect done through western union is $9.95 plus whatever you are sending. i still cannot recieve calls.

i would like to know what is the purpose of pre-paid if you cannot recieve calls. if i pay for $20.00 in calls i expect for my calls to come until the 20 is used. i really want some further steps to be taken because i cannot get a straight answer from anyone. whatever it takes i want to do because this is a ripoff.
