The Cosmetic Dentistry Grants "Program " advertises "FREE dental Implants " above it's title when it appears on your browser list. When you fill out the information on their site a representative calls you back in something like 5 minutes ( ! ) telling you that you have been approved for a grant for your desired dental work. In my case, implants. A "Sarah Peters" leaves a message in a super fast talking, car salesman like diatribe and it doesn't sound too authentic. Ok, right there one should be suspicious. How many grants are given to a person instantly. Grants usually take months of paperwork and sign offs to be approved. When I asked Sarah where the money came from I was told that it was provided by "Sandy " who works in their office. Not very solid sounding financial credentials. They do require a $50.00 deposit to go to the participating Dentist near you. Luckily, I gave them the wrong card number so they were not able to run the charge. I now read here, on the Rip off site, that they do not return the $50.00 even though they promise to. They did become insulting and short tempered when I decided not to follow up with the appointment after being told that it would only be a partial grant . When I asked for what percentage of the final cost to expect they balked . BUYER BEWARE. I also have to be suspicious of the Dentist who is working with them on this "program ".
