Complaint Review: Cosmetic Discounter

Cosmetic Discounters sold me a large number of outdated products, some that were concentrated from lengthy shelf life. For example, cream shampoo that was an inch lower than normal and was several years old.

They have no phone number or means of contacting them. I found no physical address.

they even included perfume samples that had that concentrated funky smell that old evaparated perfume has. It was an awful grouping of products. I wrote them and received a rude response even though I had been polite. They refused to pay return shipping and insisted I was wrong.

They offered a partial refund but would charge a large restocking fee for the return at my expence, of the defective products.

There was some icon indicating that they were endorced by a company that pledged their items were quality products. I wrote them but they appeared to be a made up company and only existed at the internet address link. I am sorry but I waited a long time to report them because I did not know who to turn to and do not recall where it was the link took me.

I promised them I would follow up and make sure the public knew what they were doing.
