costco kiosk don't need wireless add on's scottsdale, Arizona
When it came time for me to upgrade my phone, I priced them at several stores and went to the kiosk at costco. I had bought my last phone there, the price was great and it came with the "package". When I asked Albert about a mobile hot spot, he stated that the razr max does not come with that feature, but I qualified for a reduction in my phone bill of $20.00. He then showed me the verizon jet pak. the jet pak was $75.00, with a $35.00 rebate, (which i recieved) and the monthly fee was $20.00, I commented to him that it was not going to cost any more monthly, since I had the reduction. So I bought it, took it home, it worked fine. I needed internet for my Ipad. A few weeks later I saw a commercial on TV stating that the Hot Spot was free on my phone. I called Verizon and they said it was true, they showed me how to activate it. My concern is; If the phone came with a hot spot, why did the Albert sell me the Jet Pak? Now there is nothing I can do about it, Verizon said I could sell it and transfer my contract to the purchaser. Well, now the jet pak is free at costco, with signing a contract for 2 years. I feel I was duped into buying something I did not need and now I am stuck with the jet pak. I am going to contact Costco and Albert about this and see if there is something that can be done. I will be reporting back on the results. Ray, Scottsdale, Arizona
