Costume Hut ripoff- never sent, merchandise trying to send me to collections for reversing charges on my credit card Lambert Quebec Canada
I ordered a mask for my nephew on 9/9/05 for Halloween. I never received the mask. They kept changing the shipping date. I was told it was shipped on 10/30 and I told them to cancel the order because Halloween was to close.
I reversed the charges on 11/29/05 through my credit card company. If I had not received the mask by 11/29, it was not coming.
Today, 12/20/05, I received a letter at my place of employment stating Costume Hut will send me to collections because I reversed the charges.
This letter states it was shipped on 9/30/05. The email from the company says it was shipped on 10/30/05. They can't even get their shipping dates correct.
I must pay within 10 days or they will submit to me to collections. I am not paying this company - they are a joke. I will never use a canadian company again!

I NEVER RECEIVED any merchandise from your company. In the email below you mention it was shipped on 10/30. Today I receive a letter "Collections Notice" stating you shipped on 9/30/05.
I did charge back my credit card charge like I said I would. Did you ship on 10/30 or 9/30? Make up your mind. I will not pay for merchandise I did not receive.
If you shipped it, you should have a tracking number so track the package and find out what happened to it. I NEVER RECEIVED IT AND WILL NOT PAY FOR A FAKE PRODUCT.
I wil notify the appropriate consumer protection agencies of your actions.
