On October 18, 2006, I called Cottman Transmission located at 5911 Chimney Rock, Houston, TX 77081, (713) 988-4888 to check-out my for for a electrical problem.

Again, I made this perfectually clear that I neaded an electrical examination of my car. After about 5-6 days, Tony and Greg called me back and said, "I needed a transmission, which would cost either $2,100 or $2,500 hundred dollars. I couldn't believe it, and I was in sticker-shock!!! So I did't give them an answer for about 4 days. I kept saying that I still believed my car had an electrical problem. They repeatedly called me back and left messages on my answering machine. Finally, they assured my this would fix my car, however this didn't fix my car. I guess they felt guilty, so they suggested Goodyear Shop on Chimney Rock to check-out my car.

Within a few days, Gooyears' Master Mechanic found an electrical wire underneath my passenger seat, which burned-out my fuel-pump! I was right all along, so the next day, I got a copy of the Goodyear Report. Then I decided to file a lawsuit.

According to Cottman Transmissions' Code of Ethics, if a repair is found to not to be internal; the customer will not be charged for it. I have sent 3 settlement offers, called them in person, and visited them in person to resolve this issue. They still have my car and personal possessions as of 3/15/07. I say to all Americans who read this complaint never use this company! My warranty company has paid them $1,450.00 dollars, and they continue to hold my car.

My small claims case date shall soon be set, and I intend to win the maximum award for Cottman Transmission misrepresentation, fraud, defective, and unnessary transmission repair.

I would ask for everyone's assistance to pressure Cottman Transmission for the return of my car and personal property and to be compensated as well. Thank you.

Cottman Transmission is delaying the loss to their company, which has no ethics, morals, and honor. I intend to make it my mission to change the laws and even the playing field for decent and hard-working Americans. Dishonoest companies, like Cottman Transmission, should be put out of business forever. I encourage all Americans to send e-mails and letters to Cottman Transmission located at 5911 Chimney Rock, Houston, TX 77081.
Thank you.
