Complaint Review: Council Woman Cindy Miscikowski

On several occasions over the past year, I have called Councilwoman Miscikowski's office to voice concerns about our neighborhood street. Our particular street in the neighborhood is used for transient parking, where people drop off their vehicles and leave them sometimes for days or weeks. They know the system as to how long it takes for parking enforcement to remove them and they will move them a few feet and leave them for several more days.

I have reported this to the councilwoman's office and been ignored. I have written emails and called on the phone but still nothing happens. Our street does not have any no parking signs for garbage pickup day or street cleaning and all I have been asking for is a few no parking signs to prevent this problem. Also traffic is a problem with cars speeding through a residential area when a couple of stop signs would make it a little more difficult.

I was promised several weeks ago that the council office would have someone from the department of transportation get in touch with me. This has not happened and just another useless promise by a politician who cares nothing about her constituents. I hope that someone maight be able to get the attention of this councilwoman. Unfortunately we are stuck with her until the next election.
