Country Inn and Suites Won't Honor Lowest Price Guarantee Atlanta Georgia

Country Inn & Suites advertises a guarantee on their reservations website that they will match and beat any lower rate listed on any other hotel-booking site. They require an actual reservation be made at their site before you can submit the information about the lower price listed elsewhere.

I booked a room with the expectation that they would honor their guarantee as Hotel.com had a lower price of 20%. I booked through the countryinns.com site and submitted the info on the lower price I had found on expedia.com.

I received an email the next stating they denied the claim because “Upon review, we are no longer showing rates for hotels.com.  When we conduct a search on that site for the dates you are looking for we receive an error that states "Sorry, Radisson Hotel Atlanta NW is not available on Hotels.com for your travel dates.  You may choose alternative travel dates OR select from the hotels below."  Since we are not able to verify the lower rate, we are not able to approve the claim.  How ridiculous!!! I went right back to Hotels.com and was again able to pull up the hotel and rate with NO issue.  An absolute RIPOFF!!! 

Don't advertise a guarantee that you know you are not willing to stand by!
