I booked reservations with Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Lackland AFB through an online booking company; about 2 weeks before my son was scheduled to graduate from his Air Force BMT, I receive a letter stating he would not be graduating on time. I contacted the booking company and they called the hotel manager, who blatantly refused to cancel the reservations or provide a refund; the manager would not even grant a credit to be used at a later date!!! I had 7 days booked and am now out of a lot of money. Country Inn Lackland's greed has now caused me and my family to not be able to afford attending my son's BMT graduation. I don't understand why the manager would do this. All of the hotels near the base will likely be booked up with BMT families; so it is not like the hotel would not be out of any money. I believe they just want to double-dip by keeping my money and then book someone else in our place. Shameful, Shameful and absolutely despicable customer service!!! I highly recommend that you book elsewhere and purchase travel insurance if you think there is any chance, whatsoever, that you, a family member or your BMT loved one may experience any issue to where you would require a cancellation. Country Inn Lackland will take your money and essentially tell you too bad. To boot, they charge the reservation almost immediately to your credit card. My booking company said had Country Inn Lackland not done that, there would be more the they could have done. While Country Inn Lackland looks better than most other hotels near the base, you are taking an enormous gamble by booking with them because of their lack of service ethics!!!

So what YOU are saying is that YOU didnt read the terms and conditions. We get that. What I dont get is WHY you would expect a refund when the T&C CLEARLY state that there are no refunds. So instead of just accepting that YOU screwed yourself, YOU go online and WHINE about it and try and use your military status to garner sympathy. Sorry you are having issues but YOU are a victim of your own doing. Had you READ what YOU clicked 'I Agree" for, this wouldnt have been a surprise. Try and take some responsibility for YOUR actions. YOU clicked on the "I Agree" tab without reading.
