We have had perfect credit with CountryWide since November 2004. We had an ARM which was due to adjust in October 2007. We kept receiving letter after letter stating to contact them before our rate adjusted. We did try and was tranferred to several people and never got an answer. They kept checking our credit fico score until they were rock bottom. We never got a phone call back after leaving several messages. We were sent from department to department and never got an answer. We finally were told we qualified for a fixed rate loan and when we received it in the mail, there was an excess of $6000.00 closing costs and we would not accept this. We got in touch with another person, Oscar Boss in January and he promised a fixed rate FHA loan that would be in the mail the first of February. We have tried to call him about every day or at least every other day and he will not answer the phone or return our call. This week I used my wife's cell phone and he answered the phone and we were told again the loan papers were mailed.

It has now been three weeks since they are in the mail and we still have not received them. Our house payment was $1150 and is now 1485 and we can not pay it and keep our other obligations up. We have told them we will just mail the keys and it still does not seem to upset them. I feel we are being jacked around as long as we are paying the higher interest rate, they are not going to do anything and guess what our ARM adjust again in May. There is no way we can afford this. We are trying to finance with others, but our credit scores are in the dirt, so it looks like we are stuck. It just makes me sick to see an advertisement stating they will help you for a low fee of $350.00. How in the hell do you qualify for this? or does this just lure more unsuspecting customers into their hands to be stripped of their home and dreams.
