Complaint Review: Countrywide Auto Transport

On May 18, Countrywide Auto Transport quoted me a price of $985.00 (which I paid) to pickup a vehicle in Grand Prairie, TX within 3-5 days and deliver it to Rapid City, SD. It is now June 4 and the vehicle has not been picked up.

I called the company on May 22 to find out why the vehicle had not been picked up. They told me that their drivers all wanted a long Memorial Day holiday weekend and would pick the car up on May 26 or 27. I called again on May 28 and was told that one or more of their drivers would pick the vehicle up in the next day or two.

On the evening of May 29 when I called I was told that they needed another $250.00 to "expedite" the pickup.

I have called then at least twice a day for the past week and have been told that without the additional $250.00 it will take at least a couple more days.
