I refinanced with CountryWide June of 2006. Nancy Kaiser, the Loan Consultant was provided all the financial information and all tax information. I have most my bills on "auto-pay" meaning they come directly from my checking account. Lately, many entities were not getting paid due to a negative balance in my checking account. I thought maybe I had made a mistake somewhere. My daughter is in real estate and while looking at my loan doc's, found that Nancy Kaiser, though having the correct amount of taxes to impound, chose to use a figure that was 50% less than what it should have been resulting in a "negative" escrow account. On 07/01/07 I was charged over $450 per month for impounding my taxes rather than the $258.33 which was reported to Nancy Kaiser. This has since resulted in a payment on my first that I can no longer afford. I don't have enough income to pay a payment in excess of $1261.23..which is the payment reflected in my documents, not a payment in excess of $1600. I'm confused as to why on some pages in the documents the correct amount is reflected, yet on other pages it is not. Additionally, Nancy reported the incorrect amount to Stewart Title. I advised vehemently when I met with Nancy that there were two things I did not want. First, a monthly payment that fluctuated in any way. Second, I wanted my taxes impounded as I am not able to come up with $1549.98 twice a year, especially in December. This error resulted in a bill for $1765.90 due on 07/01/07 and another bill due 04/01/08 for $140.00. The closing cost estimate has the correct amount. Why wasn't this used if it's in the calculations?? I will have to foreclose and I have no where to go.
