Countrywide must be the worst employer possible in the USA. I am working for the company now and cannot believe the lack of principles practiced throughout towards employees. I have personally witnesses tens of friends and colleagues who have just been summoned into a meeting and informed they are to be terminated immediately.

Many, even males, come out meetings in tears. I'm just waiting for the same to happen to me, though currently I seem to be safe. My heart goes out to colleagues dismissed by senior managers at the drop of a hat. The rumor is that the HR MD Leora Goren enjoys the shock experienced by employees when dismissed. I wish California law didn't allow for this kind of company to just get rid of permanent people just because they suddenly become dispensible.

I read about the way the staff gets treated. thats just to bad, i want property service, if you dont give it..then you have to go. most of the customer service staff at countrywide dont care a d**n anyway, they do what they feel like. so you need to leave it you dont deliver. if countrywide continue to clean up their mess, maybe we can get better service!!!!!

Countrywide Doesn't Do Right By Their Employees

Today is my last day of employment with Countrywide. I went thru an agency to get
this job and in the beginning wanted to be-
come full time but what I heard and saw changed
my mind.

Another temp there had an attendance record that
would have put her out the front door at another company but not CW. From Sept to Feb., the only time I saw her come to work for a full week was after Thanksgiving then she would leave early or come in late. My attendance was great and I worked hard to prove myself, but in the end, she was hired full time and I was told the jobs were frozen even though, they were having job fairs and my supervisor had been telling me from day one that I would be hired on permanently after 90 days because CW didn't want to pay the fees associated with temps. I was lied to constantly and attendance and work ethics don't mean squat.
After all this, I didn't care about my attendance or how much work I put out each day. I have since found another job.

I would listen to the Disbursement Analysts speaking with the customers on the phone and
after they would hang up, the DA would bad mouth
the customer. I wouldn't recommend CW to anyone.
They lack principals and integrity.
