My ex-husband and I own property in Marathon, Florida. The house was bought in 1995. In July of 2006 he refinanced the loan without my knowledge or signature. The payments were originally 1532.96 and after
a month or 2 went up $5782.39. He has been paying the lowest payment 2643.68 which makes the principal go up every month.

My ex-husband has been on anti-depressants and pain medicine for many years. He did not understand this loan and the man who handled this no longer works for countrywide.

We have been struggling to make these payments selling things and borrowing money from people. We can probably make February 2008 payment and will probable have to go into forclosure.

I feel he was severely taken advntage of by this lender, did not understand. I have spoken over the phone to people working at countrywide trying to get help and asking them how he got this loan. They told me themselves that the person only cared about getting
his commission.

I do not know who to turn to. WE have no money to get a lawyer. Please Help.
