Countrywide - Recon Trust They accepted mortgage payments they were not entitled to and now they are selling my house Simi Valley California
In jan of 2007 my husband died of cancer. he had a mortgage on the home we had just purchased in july 2006 i was not on the loan i am on the deed. i attempted to assume the loan and was denied on 3 different occasions. i then stopped making payments in an attempt to get their attention to no avail. during the entire year of 2007 i told them my husband was deceased they continued to pretend he was alive. it turns out that i was never and am not responsible for the payments. while i was making them i was led to believe the would allow me to assume the loan boy was i wrong their whole agenda was to forclose on the property as it had a value of 450,000 dollars, as i put down 100,000 . i had 150,000 in equity at the time. i made 10 payments to the tune of 25,000. as a widow the home was to large for me and i would have not made those payments i would have rented for a length of time and saved that money to purchase a condo. since the begining i have been give the run arround spoken to at least 30 people and my story has never changed.
in jan of 2008 countrywide recieved affidavit of death of a joint tenent and homestead paperwork filed with the county . I have written letters and have gotten no where with them. i heard nothing from them until they posted a notice of trustees sale on my door heres their problem they dont have a deed of trust any longer and the original filed paperwork spells my name wrong. anyway i continue to get the run arround 2 years 4 months this has been going on with no end in sight other than them winning . Help its even more complicated than this.
They are selling my house on May 6 2006 on the county of riverside court house steps
