My orininal home loan was NOT with Countrywide it was sold to them. Since they got my account I have had nothing but problems. Countrywide has held my payments in a PO Box until they were late and then charged me a late fee. This has happened MANY times and I could not get anywhere with them.

They started not cashing my payments and accusing me of non-payment. I finally got so confused as to what and how much I owed I was driving myself self crazy trying to keep up.

They began foreclosure on me. I called to get an amount to stop the foreclosure, made out a check for that amount. It had been stamped and ready to be processed and then it was sent back to me and I was told I had to send a certified check. I went and purchased a certified check and sent it to them. In the mean time another billing date passed so I was STILL in arrears. They began foreclosure AGAIN. They also did not "post" the amount I sent. Most of it was eaten up in "attorney fees".

I filed backrupcy (Chapter 13) to stop them from taking my property. Now my payments are in the hands of the court and they are charging me a late fee every month. I am into the 7th year of a fifteen year loan and my principal has only gone down approx. $3,000 in three years.

They are ripping me off WHILE I am protected by the courts. They will not send me idemized statements. I have no idea of what is posted when, why they consider it late, how much is in my escrow - NOTHING.

I am scared to death when my Chapter 13 is over they will keep pulling this stuff and I will lose my home anyway after suffering for four years trying to hang on to it. I can't file again to stop them so what do I do when I am no longer protected by the courts?

My last statement said my payments are going up $300 a month! I know my taxes went up but $4000 dollars a year? I am waiting to see if the court sends me notice that they need more money from me a month. Will Countrywide use this $300 a month to consider me behind when my Chapter 13 is over?
