I find all the reports on these non responsive scum very alarming. My loan was sold to them as of 1-01-05. From now on, I will be monitoring my account activity via their website and paying early. I will also change the checking account I pay from since the account I used to pay from does not return checks.

All I can say, is, congratulations Cuntrywide you are almost as sleazy as Ocwen and Ameriquest. If you are targeting people with fake late charges in order to foreclose, I hope you reap exactly what you have sown. Shame on you, I do not trust you.

Hi Carol, I share your opinion! To keep you in the drivers seat, you may want to get a copy of your credit report, and send them a letter in writing of a request for fees a.k.a. proof of debt, by Federal law they have to respond in 20 business days. Any problems with that you can contact the Attorney General and Consumer and Industry Services, Office of Financial and Insurance Services and file a complaint. Most of all, never assume they are doing things legitimate, be your best advicate and make them do their job. Keep a journal and take notes of who, what, when and where. They are a debt collector and a loan servicer, don't forget that.
