County Wide Mortgage, CountyWide Financial Mortgage Prevented me from leaving them with a refinance by delaying my payment Ripoff Calabasas California
Well, I had refinanced with CountryWide and several months later found a better deal which I decided to pursue, amazingly when my pay off was requested from Country Wide my current payment then sat on a desk without being deposited causing a "late payment" alert to the company I wanted to go with. Country Wide then apologized when I reported this, assuring me they would correct my report with the credit agencies including sending me a letter letting me know it would take up to 60 days to correct! Then, the next month, they did it again! Needless to stay I am stuck with Country Wide who has since called to try and get me to refinance with them again! Sheesh. End result, if you're with them and considering refinancing make sure you are paid ahead as I believe what they did to me was deliberate!
