I placed an online order for a scooter with countyimports.com on 10/31/12. I waited 9 days to contact them about when it would be shipped. I received a call from Chris Anderson who left a voicemail on my phone. He stated they would be shipping my scooter the following tuesday 11-9-12. That's the 9th business day since I ordered. They claim on there website 5-15 business days to actually receive your order, so I was cool with that, but tuesday rolls around and I never here from them of course. I wrote several emails to them stating I want a refund or a tracking# for my order or I'm getting a chargeback from my bank, but I never received another reply until today 11/27/12!!! Almost 1 month from placing my order! They claim they have shipped it today. We will see. I may still refuse the scooter shipment and do a charge back since they lied. What a terrible company!

Shipping damage

Before a shipping company loads a vehicle onto the freight truck they inspect it and sign its bill of laden stating that it is in new condition, if it is damaged they will not load it onto their freight truck, this protects them from being responsible for any damages that existed before they take possesion of it.

Once the unit is loaded onto the freight truck that shipping company has the responsiblity to deliver it in the same condition that it was in when they picked it up. If damaged at anytime during delivery the shipping company provides a damage claim that customers need will need to process for compensation. Most shipments are delivered in the same condition (new) as they were when picked up by the shipping company, but in the unfortunate event there are damages found at the delivery site all customers are covered by the shipping companies insurance.

Countyimports or any other company that ships a product cannot be responsible for damages while in the shipping companies care. If this happens to you, you should take pictures of the damages and have the driver sign the bill of laden stating he acknowledges the damages to the unit. Next file a claim on line with the shipping company and they will compensate you for your loss. We will also work with our customers to speed up the process for a quick resolution to the claim and ship them another unit.

Our customers satisfation is very important to us and we will be there with you until your unit has been replaced or you have been fully refunded

scooter delivered damaged!

#3Author of original report

I finally got the scooter delivered today 12/6/12 but it had moderate damage to the bottom front of the scooter.
I could see a big hole in the box and the scooter was visible. I could touch and see the damaged panels. It looks like a fork lift rammed it, so i refused the delivery. I'm waiting on someone from ceva logistics to call me.
I dont hold much hope of getting a refund but i'm going to try my best. What a horrible experience ive had with this scooter purchase!
