On 02/2018 I filed charges against a guy who I was dating for stealing my cellphone & physically assaulting me. Also, I went to court about it three weeks later about it. When it was the judge's time to speak to me and he called me to the stand, he immediately asked me do I have a mental illness and do I get S.S.I. after I told him what had happened, which bias and irrelevant to that situation. Also, the judge called my mother to the stand based on text messages that she had sent the guy who I was dating asking about the cellphone & she was texting him back & the other female he was seeing. My mother was texting that female back assuming that is who she was talking to after her name appeared at the top of her phone and someone replied back that this is my phone do not text it back. Also, the public defender lawyer name Bailey who was representing the guy who I was seeing was asking my mother about my mental condition. I do have social anxiety disorder as my mother told him. He was asking her does that causes people to lie. The judge did charge the guy who I was seeing with "petty larceny" & "simple assault". However, they publicly humiliated me by bringing my mental condition into a situation that was irrelevant. When that happened between me and the guy, it was during midnight so there was no eyewitnesses. However, I did provide phone call records of calls he made from my cellphone when I went to press charges on him, which matched the times that I stated that he was at my home. If there are lawyers, governors, mental health defenders, mental health advocacy groups, people who make laws to protect & defend people with mental health conditions; etc. please step in to help bring changes to laws about this. I wrote many mental health advocacy & support groups about this. As one of them responded stating that I was right how that (my mental illness) should have not even been brought up if it was not relevant to the case (which it was not). I have written the mental health support group in my state. They told me to write senators and congressman in my state because they are the ones who are responsible for making laws. They also told me that they will keep my letter on file to share with congressmen and senators when it comes to making laws and support them to make changes; etc. I have written the governor in my state and even to the president. Our current president Donald Trump have two mental illnesses: Bipolar Disorder & O.C.D. That is not to be funny, but it is just to show you how unfair that was what they done to me in court. If my mother was not there, I think that they would have let him (the guy who I pressed charges on) went unpunished. As my mother was about to ask the judge, if your daughter had a mental illness and someone hit her & took something of hers, would you believe her and want something done about it?
