COURTESTY CHEVROLET RIPOFF LIED CHANGE PAPER WORK I BELEAVE THEY SENT FRAUDLANT CREDIT APPLICATION TO GMAC FOR LOAN APPROVAL BEHIND MY BACK PHOENIX ARIZONA
My experience with Courtesy Chevrolet in Phoenix they lied change paperwork and added dates next to signature's.I think this is forgery .
1. How can a dealership get a loan without a credit application being filled out They Did.
2. I caught them in a lie about charges on AUTOMATE ALARM that was to be no charge.and I was charged $300 for it. Alex the salesman Jim the manager and Marcus the fiance person all lied about the charge.I did get the $300 back after I proved to them they lied. Alex thought I wanted a H H R SW I told him I wanted a H H R panel and at the time of the paperwork the $300 difference came up and that's when the all lied and told me the $300 was the difference from the H H R SW and the Panel, And after I showed them that the paperwork had the same vin # on all paperwork that's when they agree-ed to give me the $300 back. And made it look like I ordered the alarm and cancel.(it was to be no charge )
3. I was told about 50% sale on the gap insurance and the warranty extended service
agreement and was charge full price.(by Marcus) in fiance. I was told my payment-would go up $35 more. (if you take $35 x 72 months you get $2520 so who got the $520 difference ?
4. I had couple calls from Monica asking if I got the customer survey yet and when I do could I bring it in and she mention something about free gifts or they could pick it up. I told Monica no on bringing it in and no on picking up and she ask why and I told them they lied to me. After talking to a consumer advocate who does post on Rippoffreport.com GM does NOT want the dealer's employees filling out the customer's CSI survey. GM wants the car buyer to fill it out and send it in DIRECTLY TO GM! How can GM rate a dealer in an honest way if the dealer's employees want the car buyer to bring the CSI survey to the dealer so a employee and "HELP with ALL THAT PAPPER WORK" I say BULL. Lisa just want to make GM General Motors THINK that I am a happy car buyer
5. I got a call from Lisa customer service person about what I told Monica and ask if I give her a opportunity to talk about what I told Monica and. she also talk about the survey and ask to bring it in or pick it up and again I said no.
I did agree on a meeting.
6. At the meeting I told Lisa about the alarm and on the we owe sheet was n/c (no charge)
and she pulled her copy out and it had 300 on it.( the first lie) I ask Lisa for a copy of my credit application and she said by law she didn't know if she can give it to me. I said it mine why not. Lisa left the room and came back with Sabina and ask for a copy of the credit application and got talking about other things.Like about how I was told about 50% sale on gap and service agreement and was charge full price . I told them of a conversation I had with Stu(service writer in service department) that I purchase the gap and service agreement how the example was given if the radio knob broke it would be replace at no charge and Stu
quickly responded that a LIE and Lisa said to me some people should not be working here and Stu was one of them. But because of his health and age and working here a long time they let him work.
I ask again for a copy of the credit application and Sabina pull some papers from my folder and went and had copies make and gave them to me. When I got home I saw the paperwork was not a copy of the credit application but the form client information sheet and that someone filled in the dates next to our signature's. And the other form was authorize dealer investigate credit and employment history credit reports by law .How can the do this when there was no credit application filled out? At the end of the meeting Lisa and I agree-ed on trying to get me $1400 back from the charges on the gap and service agreement and she will talk it over with the her people and get back with me.Before leaving I told them I spoke with someone from ripoffreport.com
7. I call GMC 1800 number and talk to Humberto ( not sure of spelling ) and requested a copy of credit application and he said he can send me a copy of the loan paperwork and not the credit application after talking to him I ask if this call is being recorded and he said yes and I directly ask him if he had a copy of the credit application and he said no and I said thank you and hung up.
8.Lisa called informed me she had a meeting with the owner of the dealership and he did not have an answer on this matter and was going to London for ten days. Wow no on else has the power to do anything ? Lisa mention to be that in our conversation in the meeting about me trying to blackmail them and I told her that is not true and she said yes and I said no.The only reason I can think of why she said that was because I mention ripoffreport.com
9.My registration was wrong the vin number was correct but the model was wrong. Model was SW which should of been Panel . I went to Motor Vehicle Division and was told to take it back and have it re-registered to the correct model. At the meeting with Lisa I showed her the wrong registration and she call some one and while on the phone with this person she told me If we re-registered this vehicle it will become a used vehicle and I told her not to do this at this time because I have to see what I can do. If its re registered now and when I want to sell the H HR I will be the second owner not the first. How do you explain this to a buyer or trade it ? Yeah Right !
By the way, Stick Bogart the consumer Advocate on ripoffreport.com wants to know how did this dealer get me financing at GMAC without me or my wife EVER FILLING OUT A CREDIT APPLICATION! How can a dealer get a car buyer finacing with out the car buyer filling out a credit application? Does somebody know? Maybe I can get Stick to tell us all how this works, I am sure GMAC would like to know if any shady things are going on. Maybe I can get GMAC to send me copys of EVERYTHING that they got sent to them from Courtesy Chevrolet's finace department.

After Talking to a Consumer Advocate I decided to do some research on Courtesy Chevrolet. Look what I found. maybe somebody can help me understand this below.
I do not understand why a car dealer has to go to court so many times. Can someone help a little guy understand why they wind up in a court of law so many times ?
I don't know who was right or wrong, But I did find a 141 of these below on the net. Maybe a Courtesy Chevrolet can take some time and post a reply to my ripoff report?

How to Read the Civil Cases
#2Consumer Comment
Mon, June 09, 2008
Doug -
You are going to have to take a day and go to the court house and read the compliants filed...
The first one at the bottom is the complaint -that is the only way you are going to know why they filed a civil lawsuit on them.
Unfortunately, this information may not be online for you to read....
It's unfortunate that we can't talk outside of this forum...because - what dealers and lenders do is unbelievable...
Read my other posting....for a clear understanding
