COURTESY BUICK GMC, Louisville, KY POOR MANAGEMENT & POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE Louisville KY
If I could give them a ZERO I would. I called them about service issues and the dealership was not clear on charges on service fees. I needed to understand the fees before I got there. They were confusing and not helpful. When I told the service manager (James Bard), I would just complain to GMC since he refused to help me with my concerns. It just seems they wanted to trap me in fees.
He seems upset and took a picture of my vin. I asked why he did so and ignored me, so I told him I was calling the police. He then asked why I would call the police. I said because you have no reason to take a picture of my vin. He only took a picture of my vin for rotatory reasons because I was going to file a complaint with GMC.
He was and got his GM (Frank Moddy) and the GM was no better. Told me that the police would not come because they had a truck stolen and they never came for them. The dealership has been on a decline since it was sold by the Swopes. The customer service there is BAD and is VER POOR. I have heard this from many people.
This dealership is one to STAY AWAY FROM! I did report this to the police in case anything was done to my vin. And GMC was alerted as well, and I have a report number with them. You just can not treat people any way you want and then get upset and retaliate against them if they say they are going to file a complaint on you.

Maybe they shook their head like we all are doing reading your comment? Or maybe we all know you have some connection to the dealership.

How in the world were you Ripped Off?
If you were confused and they were not helpful about the fees before you got there....WHY did you go there There are 3 other dealers you could have gone to all within about 20 miles.
You keep saying that they refused to help you with your concerns, but you fail to tell us what those concerns were. Just the attitude you put forward in your report tells us that this was likely less of a case of them not helping you and more of a case of you refusing to listen.
What I am still trying to figure out is what their "rotatory" reasons are that you think they took the picture of your VIN for. What criminal acts do you think that they are going to do with your VIN? The VIN gives them specific information about your vehicle, and if you are asking about fees and services that allows them to give you specific information.
As for the police. Yes, I do believe that they were very supportive and "understanding" while they were talking to you. But as soon as they left the location I am sure they were shaking their heads trying to figure out why they wasted their time.

The police did not think it was a waste of time. They understood the importance of what anyone can do with a VIN in today's world.
It was all documented for my protection so if anything happens they will be the first place and people they look at.
Thanks for your Hateful comment thou.

An automotive service department is not always able to determine the cost of service without evaluating the vehicle firsthand.
Thank you for wasting police resources with your inane frivolous complaint.
