Courtesy Imports Mazda Kia Mitsubishi ripoff artists, very deceptive practices, straight up liars! Henderson Nevada
On Feb 23,2006 my fiancee and i went to Courtesy Imports to look at cars. My previous vehicle was totaled and i got some money back from it. We went to the dealership to look at the Mazda 3 cars, because at the time they had a deal..yea right.. where they would triple your down payment on a new Mazda 3 or 6 vehicle.
The salesman Andrey met us and told us about the car, we went on a test drive and found out that we liked the vehicle, we went back and asked to look at some numbers. He comes back with this other guy and gives us a laughable offer, told them noo thanx and we would be leaving, they went back and tried again with there sales manager, they come back with a offer of 336.00 a month,so we agreed and took the car..
Well after about two weeks my fiancee gets the call from them to come down and sign the paperwork. I brought my dad along with us to make sure we didnt get screwed. Well we get into the finance office and now all of a sudden things changed..
Now its 465.00 a month and with the "mandatory" gap insurance it was closer to 500 a month..Told them thank you and heres your keys, the finance guy told us that we could be in trouble for keeping the down from them, I told him that i got screwed before and it wasnt going to happen again.. So we asked about a used car.. Heres where the nightmare begins..
We looked at there cars and found one that we could afford..after spending close to 3 hours at this place we find a 02 Hyundai Elantra.. what a peice of s**t this car is... so we take it home and the following morning we notice that the tires are not as good as we thought they were.. we called the dealership back and asked them what the deal was.. got no answer..what a shock huh>?
well about a week later, the Engine Light comes on and i have to take it to a local Hyundai dealership since it still had a factory warrenty on it. we were notified at the Hyundai dealership that the car was in bad need of some serious repairs and that the warrenty wont cover it.. front and rear brakes at 4mm,warped rotors, drive belts in bad shape, transmission fluid burnt, and then some..
So again we call Courtsey and again get the run around... Another week later the Airbag warning light comes on and we again take it to the Hyundai dealership to get fixed.. well to our surprise the service advisor alerts us that the airbag wire under the drivers seat had been cut,now they wanted 88.00 an hour to remove the seat to fix the problem that was covered under warrenty..
To make a really long story short.. We ran a carfax report to find out just how big a peice of s**t we did buy and to our amazement we find a whole different mileage reading then what the vehicle said.. Called dealership.. got the usual run around.. filed a complaint with the BBB about the run around we have been getting from the dealership..
On April 13 the GM of Courtesy imports calls us and basically tries to intimidate us about us filing a complaint against his dealership.. End of the story, nothings been resolved now in process of obtaining an attourney and Channel 3 and 13 to let them know of how deceptive this dealership really is.. STAY AWAY FROM THESE ASSHOLES>>
