My wife and I needed to upgrade to a larger vehicle and we had a 2009 Suzuki SX4 to trade in. The dealer had a special on 2008 Suzuki XL7's with the 3rd row seats. We found a Silver one that we liked and test drove it. It was pretty noisey driving it and seemed to ride harsh. The salesman told us it was just the roads around the dealer ship.

We bought it and drove it home. My wife drove it for a few days and said it was noisy all the time. I then drove it around and found out it was very noisey and rough. I got down on the ground and looked under it. It was rusted and corroded everywhere. It looked like it had been sitting in salt water. The brake rotors were very rusty and would make grinding noises when we would stop.

I took it back to the dealer and they told me  that it was normal , because they came from Japan on ships and the salty air did that. I then told them that the XL7's were made in Canada and sent by rail to Nevada. They didn't say a word. I also asked why all the other ones were clean and new on the underside, also, no response.

I told them I did not want this vehicle, I wanted my trade in back. They said my trade in was already sold. It wasn't, I saw it on the back lot for over 3 weeks after I traded it in. They said I had signed a contract and had to keep what I bought or I could trade it for one of equal value or more expensive. I told them over and over they had nothing I wanted, but I ended up being forced to take a black XL7 which I really didn't want or keep the rusted one, which I expect was a Katrina Hurricane car.

I had the black XL7 2 days before I had to turn it into the shop for fuel tank problems where it stayed for 2 weeks . I did not want a black car in Las Vegas because of the heat and dust and now I have to live with it every day because of this lieing ripp off dealer...

I called the GM and he was very rude and arrogant and just said you signed a contract. I hope this dealership fails and I will go out of my way to put the word out on what a bunch of crooks run this place. I have had an automotive performance shop in Las Vegas for 15 years and we are very honest and have a good reputation. People listen when I talk and I WILL be talking a lot.....
