I worked for Covenant Aviation Security, at the San Francisco Airport for about 3 months. There policy was supposed to be that, if you were tardy, or absent for three times, you were to be put on a level. Upon being put on this level, if the same situation occured, that you would be suspended, or terminated from employment. I was tardy 3 times during my probation period, maybe about 5 minutes or less. I was suspended without pay, and then was told to turn in my uniforms, and badges, and was fired. On my termination papers, it stated that I was put on a level, which I was unaware of, and beleive that i was treated unfair. So if you work, will work, or want to work for Covenant, be aware that they will fire you for blinking to many times while on the job.

I have worked for Covenant for 4 years. Yes, they have tardy or absent policies like every other company has. May I add, I've never been late once! It's not that hard to get to work on time. I agree with Covenant, if you can't seem to get to work on time, you should be replaced with someone who can. They did nothing wrong with firing this person...there is a probation period and guidelines to need to be followed during that time. This person did not. Get up early enough to get there on time...leave home earlier. No business allows constant tardiness. How is being fired because you can't make it on work on time a ripoff? Funny.
