covenant transport Stealing employee pay Chatanooga Tennessee
Covenant Transport is stealing money from their over the road drivers. They are working their payroll to where you get charged twice for things like hotel stays when you are broke down. Hotel stays that they are suppose to cover. They dont pay you the lay over pay you are due. They have more loop holes in their pay role system than swiss cheese. They charge you for insurance when you dont have coverage. They even charge you for toll charges that they are suppose to reimburse for. In fact you might as well forget about getting reimbursed for any of the charges they tell you they cover. At this point there are enough disgruntled workers and former workers that a class action suit should be started.

I keep seing this excuse, why dont you hire more payroll people, surly ending the complaints warrants more individuals in payroll.

Lets start with WHAT is covenants hotel, and layover policy. I'm not even a company driver and I could tell you. They do pay for hotels IF it's BREAKDOWN releated, and an EXTENDED repair. THAT DOES NOT mean if your truck is going to take 8 hours to fix you get a hotel. Whats the layover policy????? Humor me and tell me.
NOBODY "works" with payroll To overcharge you. Mistakes happen. There are 5 payroll ladies doing payroll for the entire company of 3000 plus employees. All you have to do is call or email them if there is a mistake. It happens at EVERY company. "They have more loop holes in their lay system than Swiss cheese".......NAME SOME!!!!! Give me examples.
How do THEY charge you for insurance and you don't have coverage????? YOU CHOOSE to pay for insurance, and the insurance company and their policy's and coverages HAVE NOTHING to do with Covenant. I have NEVER had a problem getting my expenses paid back, and if they are forgotten a quick phone call or email gets it fixed. PERIOD!!!!
