CoventBridge Group former ICS/Merrill and Global Options DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY Jacksonville, Florida Nationwide

Do your research when working for this company.

This is not the job for you if you have a family unless you have a spouse that stays home.    Management does not care about you.    They will call at all hours in the evening, when you are off, call you while on PTO (vacation) and expect a ridiculous amount of travel.    You will miss your kids events.

The same complaints that are being made now are the same complaints that were made with ICS/Merrill.    Read the reviews on glassdoor, indeed, this website and any other website that you can locate.   Any positive reviews are posted by employees that John Ferrante has asked to be posted because the company is worried about their image.

Since the merger approximately 30-35% of the employees have left the company.  The company is attempting to hire new employees by offering hiring bonuses to current employees and very few employees have been hired.   Management has attempted to call former employees and asked them to come back and they won’t come back.

The two companies merged meaning they would have more clients, more work etc.   The company is in a critical position with half of the investigators not working.   Why would you work for a company that does not have the work???    Every winter, every year you have to claim unemployment because they DO NOT HAVE the work!

Since the merger last March several employees complained about raises…..at the end of the year last year Dave Merrill claimed he didn’t know raises were not being given…..THE CEO doesn’t know raises are not being given??   They did a rush to get evaluations done before the first of the year that resulted in a 0-3 percent raise.   Previous raises were 0-5 percent.     They don’t take care of the investigators although, they are the ones that make the money for the company.   The money they didn’t give to the investigators the Jacksonville office is remodeling there office.   They won’t raise any vehicle allowances.

The company has a “just bill attitude.”   They don’t care about results they just want the case completed.   This has caused CoventBridge to be in jeopardy with some clients and clients want to be updated on cases.   They don’t trust the managers to make the decisions.     Also, you will be asked to conduct interviews for clients (Alive and Wells).   To go along with the just bill attitude they don’t care about talking to the claimant, they will ask you to just go out and talk to neighbors to close it out…..that’s not very good customer service for the clients.

You are being kind in your comments about this company.

I have been an investigator for 30-years and I found this agency to be an absolute disgrace to the profession.  They do not care about the investigation, only filling budgets and having a suitable end product.  Their employees are treated as only pawns in the whole process, especially the investigators.  The office personnel who do very little if anything to put together the product the company sells, however are treated much better than the Investigators in the field but still not much better.  While there for over three years, I was cheated out of mileage money, overtime money and put into dumpy hotels because the office booked my room leaving my decision completely out of the picture.  I have never seen any company walk all over their team members as this one does.  I could go on about evaluations, raises, vacation time, case locations assignments and the pure stupidity of District and Area Managers that had never worked as an investigator but never hesitated to dish out insane advice, direction or criticism.
