In Oct 2013 I signed up for Coventry one and then cancelled it in November 2013, after BCBS decided not to raise their rates on their customers.  I never received any cards from this company which is how I know someone there knew it was cancelled.  However, they withdrew $500 every month from our bank account- even though I was not using them and had cancelled over the phone.  In Dec 2014, they sent me "renewal cards" (after never sending them the first time)- I realized they had been charging me and called. I was told to send proof of BCBS coverage for the year and I would get a refund.  However, after about 10 hours on the phone and lots of run around, and supervisors NEVER able to talk, I was told they would only refund $1500 and keep $4500- even though I never used them, they never sent me cards for that year, I had proof of other insurance, and I had cancelled on the phone.  They lied and are inappropriately greedy.  Do not use this insurance company!

This has to be some sort of a joke, as what you are trying to get us to believe is that not only did you never notice an extra $500 missing from your account but you failed to notice this every month for a year.

Well on the off chance you are serious, if $500 a month to you is "chump change" where it doesn't even raise your eyebrow quite frankly you deserve(that's right I said it)..you DESERVE to loose that money.  Although might I suggest that now that they are no longer taking it out that you put it to better use.  Find a LEGITIMATE charity and pledge that same $500/month.

Oh and as for getting your money back...LOL.  Take the $1500 as the right to dispute a transaction for you is 60 days so they are giving you an extra month, which they are under no obligation to do.
