CoventryOne Health Insurance Coventry Health Care of Kansas Inc Worst Customer Service, Very prompt to charge premium even more prompt to deny valid claims Internet
I had very very bad experience with Coventry. Their customer service is bad; their claim service is even worst. When I bought insurance from them for my family, they had done all the verification and validation and signed me up for auto withdrawal of premium from my bank account. My plan only required copay for any sick-visit to doctor. 3 months ago, my son had seasonal flu and we visited doctor office. I paid copay. After 1 month I got call from doctor's office that my insurance (Coventry) has denied their claim of doctor's fees and I had to pay that. When I called Coventry Customer Service, they said that they had asked doctor's office to send the patient's medical history and they did not receive that from doctor's office. When I called the doctor's office, they claimed that they had sent it and on my request, they sent it again. When I called Coventry, they mentioned that they did not receive that yet and even after they receive it, it is going to be a long process and will take around 2-3 months. In the mean time, I am getting bills from Doctor's office. The Coventry Insurance Customer Service is very bad and they are not only wasting a lot of my time but also making the doctor's office waste lot of their time.
