Cox cable on many occasions take money out of your account with out permission, then tell you that your bill has not been paid, after not having internet that work, and robbing money from my account, they send out 2 people a day to my house, everyday harrassing me asking to give them cash now or they will disconnect the service., One guy leaves and says your service will be disconnected even though it is already disconnected, then tell you, you will have to pay a lot of money to get your service reconnected again. Here comes the next scam artist, sneaking around my yard, in my yard, without knocking or ringing the door bell, same story only this time he is asking for a different amount of money. This has been going on for days. When I CALL COX CABLE TO ASK IF THIS IS NORMAL, SOME LADY NAME CHRISTINE HANGS UP IN MY FACE! THIS IS COX CABLE PEOPLE. EVERYDAY MY SERVICE IS BEING DISCONNECTED! SCAM!!

IF MY SERVICE IS ALREADY DISCONNECTED THEN WHY ARE YOU SAYING YOU ARE GOING TO DISCONNECT IT IF I DO NOT PAY YOU MONEY THAT YOU HAVE ALREADY TOOK FROM MY ACCOUNT!!!! WTF!

THE LAST GUY THAT LEFT SEEM TO BE VERY STRANGE, SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT HERE. NO UNIFORM, NO NOTHING, JUST HIS WORD. THIS MAN WAS DRIVING A BURGANDY TRUCK, NEVADA LICENCE PLATE # 288-UVG. NO RESPECT!, RUDE! I WILL NEVER USE COX AGAIN!!!!
THEIR SERVICE IS OVER PRICED ANYWAY, AND IT DOES NOT WORK THAT WELL IF AT ALL!

It is illeagal for a company to harass you over a debt. They can send a collections agency to try to collect and take you to court if you don't pay, but they cannot break into your house or call you at all hours of the day. The company (Cox in this case) is also required to inform you when they send your debt to collections. If they are really working for Cox (or a collections agency) the company is going way beyond what is allowed.

based on what you are saying, its possible that they are just scammers and have nothing to do with Cox at all. They may just be trying to get you to pay, so they can dissapear with your money. That would explain why Cox hasn't recieved your money, because you have been paying scammers not the real Cox. I have seen this situation happen before and the family lost thousands before the scammers were cought.

Call the police and explain this to them. Do not give these people anything, until you clear up the situation. These people should be arrested for harassment. No legit company would do as they are doing. Call Cox at the number listed here: https://www.cox.com/support/?gothere=/billingsupport/ to see if they can shed some light on this. Try to be nice, even though you are frustrated as it will get you further than yelling or accusing.
