I just wanted to warn others I had signed up for Cox Communications Internet at the price of 19.99 a month for one year, a special they had going on in the apartment building I live in, they had Cox reps going around telling everyone of the great deal.  I signed up and paid a 25 deposit for the internet. When we get internet we found there was a mistake on Cox's part they had "flipped" the worng switch and they could not get our internet to work, unless they came out to correct their mistake, I later found they charged me 50 dollars for fixing their mistake because a tech had to come out to fix the issue.  A few days later my wife wanted to sign up for phone service and found we could get it for 9.99 a month.  When I got my first bill, my interenet was billed at 53.99 and the phone was billed at 24.96. I called and was told by sales yes I was on a 19.99 plan but when I was transfered to biling they told me I did not have any plan for 19.99 for internet and the phone was 24.96 due to FCC fees and voicemail plus the 9.99 cost for the phone.  My wife was never told the phone bill was going to be 25 dollars she was told it was 9.99 a month, and I am not even sure what happened with the interenet cost.  When talking with bill they could do nothing, and promised to have a supervisor call in 24 hours, well that was almost 2 weeks and I have yet to hear from anyone at cox.  I warn you if your going with Cox Communications my suggestion is use anyone and I mean anyone else, I am cancelling my account with Cox Communications and will find someone who will provided what they promised at the price they promised.
