Cox Communications Dishonest or fraudulent billing and very rude customer service ripoff Phoenix Arizona
On Feb. 7th 2007 I went to their office and started to write a check for my Telephone/Cable TV/Digital High Speed Service. The lady told me not to write a check that they would just debit my bank account and she needed my checking acccount number. I gave her my check book and she entered the number. Later I found that she entered the wrong number. Seven days later I got a notice from Cox statint that they debited my account for the payment for the followng reason: No Account/Cannot Locate.
They are not charging me late fees and a $25.00 check return fee bercause of their error. i shave spoke to at least four different people at Cox. They are all very rude and told me that the $25.00 fee is levied for "any reason".
Now I have late fee and check reutrn fee to pay that isn't my error. It is Cox's error but they will do nothing about it.
I have written their regional manager a Mr. Rizley but he doesn't even have thr courtesy to answer my letter.
They are very hard to deal with. I am going to file a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission this next week.
