When I did not receive my November, 2006 statement from Cox I called customer service. They said that they intentionally did not send any statement because there was a credit balance. When I requested the statement they refused to send it.

One person said if I wanted to pay for a statement then they would send it. Another person said I could look online which I did and it is not there either. I explained that I need an invoice for tax purposes as well as for my company.

I called again the next day requesting the bill and spoke with two managers who also refused to send the normal statement. They told me this is Cox's policy which I told them was very hard to believe and it may be even be a Federal violation. I was told something would be sent within 5 days that showed the charges. That time has passed and I still have no invoice/statement/bill for Nov. I just checked online and it is not there either so I have no clue what they charged me for Nov., 2006.

And in December Cox dropped a number of channels without any reduction in rate. And just recently I've received a letter stating that rates will be increasing.

I have never had any company act so unethically and I strongly suggest others keep this in mind if they are looking for a TV service provider. This is not my first problem with them since the Cable America deal and things have been going down hill since that merger/acquisition.
