I had cox service for 3 days, the operating system of both my computers went down after being hooked up to cox and the phone constantly went down. I spend 3 days on the phone with tech support and finally cancelled my service after 3 days.

It's been over a month, I still haven't got my security deposit back, when I called about it, they were going to charge $60 out of my deposit for installation charges, even though I was never even able to access their system, I had to argue with them to get the full amount back and found out it will still be another 2-3 weeks before they even cut the check to me. When I gave them my account number for the deposit, they had it out of my account in five minutes...whats up with the 2 month wait to get it back?

I used Cox for cable TV and internet for the last eight years here in middle Georgia and always found their service satifactory. I got help politely and rare problems were always resolved. Only minor complaint is that their automated telephone menu was tedious. It takes awhile to get to a live person. But it always worked to my satisfaction.
