COX COMUNICATION ripoff, BILL OVER 1200.00 OF CABLE SERVICE WHICH I NEVER SEEN BUT CHARGED TO ME MANCHESTER Connecticut
I WAS AT WORK AND I RECIEVED THE MAIL IN THE AFTERNOON AND I FLIPPED OUT WHEN I SAW THE BILL, IT WAS 1200.00 OF CABLE SERVICE. I WOULD'VE UNDERSTAND IF I WAS SEEING THE TV, BUT I WAS WORKING AT THAT TIME.
THE COMPANY STATED THAT SOME ONE IN THE HOUSEHOLD WAS SEEING TV MEAN WHILE I WAS AT WORK, WHICH THROUGH ME OFF GUARD. THERE IS NO WAY I COULD'VE BEEN IN TWO PLACES AT THE SAME TIME (WORK AND HOME).
WELL THEY STATED THAT I HAD TO PAY FOR IT BECAUSE IT CAME OUT FROM THE RECIEVER THAT I HAD. NOW IM STUCK WITH A BILL AND IM STILL FIGHTING WITH THE COMPANY TO CLEAR MY NAME, BUT NO LUCK YET.
IF ANYONE KNOW HOW I CAN CLEAR MY NAME OUT? WITH OUT PAYING THAT LARGE AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR THAT BILL.

If there was NO ONE in your home that could have used the cable when you were not there, you need to contact the local police and file a report. (Does anyone know if the FCC should be involved in this?)
It sounds as if someone has tapped into your cable line which is illegal. The cable company should want to know that this has happened and want to start an investigation. After you have filed the police report, send a copy to the cable company (fax first if you can) and via US Postal Service, return receipt requested.
Carbon copy to the District Attorney's office and the FCC. Then DEMAND an investigation into the illegal tapping of your cable line.
