Complaint Review: Cp International Inc.

It first started when i saw an ad on craiglist. org for hiring postions for a goverment contract. So i called the number and spoke to a Mrs. Kelly or otherwise known as Lt.Kelly. She explained that her company just got a goverment contract and was hiring people for security jobs for client's site. She made it seem like so easy and instructed me the job entail being a security guard. She ask me whether i had a security license and i said i didn't have. She explained that was no problem and the company would train me for the postition and help me get a license. All i had to do was bring $80 for the processing fee and i would be fine and start immediately. So sets me up for an interview on Tuesday june 15th,2009 on wall street. So right now immediately awe struck because the job pays 13.50 and is on wall street which sounds great to me. Given the fact i never been to Wall street. So I go to the interview and somehow how Mrs.kelly the lady i spoke to on the phone had to go to the gun range at the time of my appointment. which i came 20minutes early for. So i speak to a guy named Mr. Edourard who explains the job and then offers me the job but with the stipulation that i have to pay 300 plus the 80 to get my license. Thats $400 for a security license he's telling me i have to get. I ask will i start working once i get this training done, he replys yes you'll be place once the training is done. So i pay the amount on my credit card because one i need a job badly and i figure my first check would cover the 400 easily. Well after i left the office i just couldn't believe i pay 400 to get employed for a job. Thankful i start to do some research on the company and strike upon this website and see other stories pertaining how cp international scam them on lots of money and don't place you in jobs, but only refer you to the job site(meaning they don't own the contracts. they're a job agency in every sense). So immediately i become upset and want a refund. thank god i didn't start taking any course because it stipulates on the contract that u sign is when u start taking training course the money is non-refundable. So i go back the next day to get a refund. Let me tell you I had to fight to get a full refund. They were saying we can only give only 279 and keep the other 100 because its an deposit. Well i start to become irate and demand my full money back to Mr. Edourad. after that i speak to the person in charge Mr. Pierre who wants me to sign a sheet requesting a refund. On the sheet they're are two check off point one saying approve and the other saying disapprove. and this guy wants me to sign without him checking the sheet off. so i rudely say am not signing anything until you approve that sheet with a copy. So after arguing back in forth and a couple of insults. he checks off the approve sheet and says come back in 5 business days because thats how long it takes to process a return. and comeback to get a receipt. SO I WANT TO WARN EVERYBODY OUT DON'T BE A FOOL. IF SOMETHINGS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, DO SOME INVESTIGATING FIRST BEFORE U SIGN ANYTHING. ALSO SECURITY LICENSE ARE NOT THAT EXPENSIVE THEY ONLY COST ABOUT 30-50 DEPENDING WHERE U GO. TRUST COMPANIES LIKE ALLIED BARTON WHO ACTUALLY OWNS THERE OWN CONTRACTS AND JOBS SITE.
