In 2003 we adopted our grandaughter who was 3 at the time. Our son who was her father died. The natural mother gave up her rights to this little girl.
The materanl grandmother got visit rights from a district judge. This child had to go for visits every other weekend, one for whole weekend then the next visit had to go on a Sat. then on a Sunday. On one of these visits the step grandfather hit her with a stick and left bruses on her buttocks, and legs, we reported this to dhs, and the police, and the hospital. pictures were even taken of brusies.The police refused to do anthing to this man because of the mans uncle was the cheif of police. well the cps worker yelled at my husband over the phone and made us meet with her the the office of dhs.She meet with us speratly accusing uf os every thing. calling us names. then in Feb. she told us this child had to go back for a visit with grandmother. This time the stepgrandfather molested her. So we reported this again. We refused to send her back to their home. Had a court date on June 22 of 05' the procedings couldn't take place because of the child advocate couldnt make it. so was postponed. On the 24 the cps worker went to our childs daycare and took her, When we went to show cause our lawyer proved she lied to the judge and every one else to get the order to pick her up. We went to show cause again because they didnt have us on list for any judge. This took several months to get to see a judge. In the meantime the kiddy jail let her fall and break her elbow, she had to have surgery to put pins in her elbow. (and they were protecting her from us) After a month we finally got her placed with my sister. The case worker never showed up for any court dates, nor was summoned. They tried all kinds of tattics to keep her, They told us if we pleaded guility then we could get her back sooner. Well we did nothing wrong. We love her and would never harm her. My husband is part Indain so the Indains got involved they were going to come in and take it out of their hands but they decided to give her back to us, but this was end of Nov. All we had to do was go to a family counselor. Which we had been doing this all along. one of the issues Justice Davis lied about. other issues were her taking a bath with her mother at the age of 5, and coming and crawling into our bed after a nightmare. Usually after her going to grandmothers and her letting her watch chuckie. So in March cps dismissed the case.

I'm sorry to inform you, Paulette, but OKDHS wants your child. They'll do anything to remove your parenting rights so they can adopt the child to someone else.
OKDHS has an adoption quota to meet each year so they can get Bonus Money from the Adoptions and Safe Families Act of 1997. The Bonus Money comes, UNLIMITED, from our Social Security Fund (our FICA Taxes). President Bush extended the ASFA from 2002 through 2008 and then announced that our Social Security Fund would be broke by 2008. Then, he lowered the qualifications of the ASFA so that more DHS agencies could qualify for the Bonus Money. Oklahoma's adoption quota to get Bonus Money is about 350 children. Oklahoma has received Bonus Money for adopting children EVERY YEAR since 1997.
If they think ONE child is abused or neglected in a family, they take ALL of the children into custody. I know one mother whose newborn baby had an obstruction in his lower intestines. They took the baby into OKDHS custody when she took the baby to the hospital. Then they went to her home and took her three-year-old baby away from the grandmother so they'd have ALL of her children. They placed one child in Tulsa and the sick baby with her X-husband who is an illegal immigrant. The baby had surgery to get the obstruction removed. Then, the tube inserted into his abdomen during surgery got a kink in it. It's the job of OKDHS to torture children at every opportunity possible.
Her baby, who is nearly two years old doesn't even know he has a brother! It's called OKDHS Child Protection Services. The OKDHS caseworker said this week that her older baby who had his fourth birthday this week was being drugged in the foster home. It's called Child Protection Service in Oklahoma. It's a SICK system!
You may need to file a Victim Protective Order against DHS employees who will continue to look for a way to take your child into custody. They will NOT give up on your family! They SAY they release the case but they don't. Your case is forever on their computer. They do NOT want you to know what they've collected on your family!
As you know, Paulette, our legislature just authorized OKDHS to hire 100 MORE workers. Their job will be to take children into custody, remove their parents' rights and adopt them so they can get the Bonus Money from the Adoptions and Safe Families Act of 1997.
The Kelsey Briggs DHS Reform Act is supposed to find ways to prevent some abuse and neglect DHS agents force on children. However, they have two years to gather information and TRY to change some of the laws. We all KNOW that Howard Hendricks does NOT want their laws changed. The current system is flooding the agency with money.
We all know that Mr. Hendricks is using part of the Bonus Money to entertain legislators so he can be assured that children will continue to be damaged by his 'child protection' agency. We teach our children to be cautious of strangers. Then, OKDHS FORCES our children to go with strangers IN THE INTEREST OF WHAT IS BEST FOR THE CHILD! There's NO way their actions are in the child's best interest! It's ONLY in the interest of what is BEST for OKDHS! It's obvious!
I know of NO child who has survived DHS abuse and neglect and says the system treated them good. It's NOT good for them to yank a child away from their loved ones! However, the younger the child, the easier it is to yank them away. Older children can sometimes SEE what the agency is doing. However, they put the children on experimental mind-altering drugs and/or counseling to convince they that they're OK.
I'll NEVER forget the thirteen-year-old girl placed in a group home who BEGGED to contact her grandmother. She was prescribed DRUGS to help her forget about her grandmother. The next time I saw the 13-year-old girl, she was walking around like a zombie. She didn't even know where she was or who she was. All the girls needed was to be allowed to write a letter to her grandmother so it could eventually be mailed when OKDHS finished damaging her or she left at the age of eighteen. It's called Child Protection Services.
OKDHS laws state that when they take a child into custody, they place them with members of their biological family. However, that is another one of their lies! OKDHS never made even one effort to place my kindergarten granddaughter with a member of the biological family. Instead, they placed her with complete strangers. About two months later later, OKDHS placed a child in the same home who presented his naked private parts to my kindergarten granddaughter. DHS said it was FINE because the foster mother 'counseled' both children. When my grandson was moved to the same home later that year, the same child showed his private parts to my grandson, too. OKDHS again said it was OK because the foster mother 'counseled' the children AGAIN.
My speech handicapped granddaughter was KICKED out of school at the Pauline E. Mayer Shelter on several occasions for two months. When she was placed in the NON-biological foster home, she was covered with lice, had been taught horrible curse words and was wearing infant pull-ups IN THE INTEREST OF WHAT WAS BEST FOR THE CHILD!
When she was adopted by the NON-biological family, ALL of her names were changed IN THE INTEREST OF WHAT WAS BEST FOR THE CHILD. There is not one thing OKDHS does that is in the interest of what is BEST for any child! It's ALL in the interest of what is BEST for DHS and their millions of contractors. It's their job to abuse and neglect EVERY child they can get their hands on. It's their job to fabricate tales to convince the judge the children should NOT be returned to the parents or to the biological family. Thankfully, Indian tribes can protect their children from OKDHS by forcing the judge to have a representative from the tribe in the courtroom. Judges praise foster parents who help DHS destroy families. It makes no sense!
DHS agencies PAY foster parents to support their child abuse and neglect system! Foster parents are given $750-2,500 PER MONTH for EACH child placed in their care. They're trained on ways to keep from spanking a child. They're trained on how to 'refocus' the child's attention. They're given money to buy new clothes for them so they are dressed better than children living with their biological families. Foster families never have to file court actions to get support. It's given to them each month.
I'm sure DHS was thrilled to take the children into custody from the Katrina Hurricane. The DHS agencies received bundles of Bonus Money for adopting them! DHS shouldn't be getting Bonus Money for adopting children! They should make an attempt to place the child with a member of the family WITHOUT the promise of Bonus Money. It doesn't matter where the child wound up, DHS will get Bonus Money if they found a WAY to adopt them!
What a shame that our Congress passed the Adoptions and Safe Families Act of 1997! The ASFA was passed by the Clinton Administration and we all know who ran that administration. New York, Senator Clinton's home state, gets huge sums of money EVERY YEAR for adopting children. She must be so proud that so many families have been destroyed and their children adopted so N.Y. could get the Bonus Money!
Be sure to watch your step, Paulette, or your child will be another DHS adoption statistic. They're just faunching at the bits to find a way to adopt her for Bonus Money!
