CPS SecurityCPS Security Added charges to an NSF check after check has been paid through CPS San Antonio Texas
I bought medicine for $8.00. I paid with a personal check. There was a problem that caused the check to be Non-sufficient funds. There was a time delay before I realized the check did not clear. CPS security contacted me. I talked to man who said his name was John and I mailed a payment with a copy of the paperwork sent to me in the amount of $33.00. The $8 for the check and $25 for the NSF charge.
Now CPS is threatening me with going to court because they want an additional $10 for the same NSF check.
They claim that Walgreens (where the check was written) is demanding the other $10 but I contacted Walgreens and their records show that the check has been taken care of in full.
Please look into this. It isn't the $10 that is bothering me. It's the adding on to the amount after payment in full was made and the threats.
