On May 25th I ordered a 2.8GHz P4 Shuttle Micro from cpu-parts.com and expected my order with two to three weeks (seeing as it was custom built, or would've been.) It's the 13th of July right now and all I can say is that I tryed not to doubt them.

Of course in the beginning I thought they were legit (their site has a few bugs but it's pretty good looking) but after a series of unanswered emails, no computers, and finding ripoffreport.com I've pretty much faced the fact that they won't be shipping my computer to me. Don't trust them, they charge your CC as soon as they get the number and make a pretense of caring about your security as a customer by sending you a verification letter and by appearing to be cautious.

Of course I encourage someone from CPU Parts International to come and refute my claims...and to send me my computer.

They finally shipped it! I'm extrememly happy that they did, of course and I retract all statements of fraud and warn buyers that if they order from CPU Parts International, they risk a lot of grief. It is because of the company (tis probably because they are changing things) but because of the fact that they order from computer companies and are non-profit you can't expect to much in regards to customer service.

HOWEVER: If you get your computer, it is VERY high quality. In addition, the Live Person thing was very useful (when it was actually another person at the other end of the Java script) and when they did respond to your emails, they were informative. However, sometimes they were wrong about somethings and would not exactly be..."accurate" in their guesses/info.
