CR England a bad, dishonest company to work for Salt Lake City, East Chicago, South Carolina Utah, Indaiana
I myself now would have to say to not let CR England touch you with a ten foot pole. The company is a very bad and very dishonest company.
My brother dropped me off in Hammond, so I didn't have to take the Greyhound. I saw the hotel, the window in my room wouldn't completely close. But it was an OK room. Then I seen the school, and my feelings about the whole thing went from bad to worse. I did not feel safe in the neighboorhood I was in.
They took us to the St. Catherine's hospital for the physical. I was not able to pass my DOT exam this time, because the doctor saw something and wanted me to wait a few months and have another physical then. Nothing serious, just wanted me to have a couple months.
Then CR England never heard of me. I was pretty much trapped in Hammond. England provided no help, and I was informed to make my own way home. I had the money I was going to pay for the schooling, so I was able to arrange my own transportation home. If it hadn't been for that, I would have been left in a very bad and dangerous situation.

Jesse, Jim from Orlando is 100% correct. You were not able to pass the company physical. Are you upset that England didn't pay your way home? Tell me, how old are you? You have to be at least 23 for England to consider you. That is plenty old enough to learn one simple rule: be prepared. Why would you show up without a dime in your pocket? I always bring enough for food, a motel, and a bus ride all the way home. You're crazy if you don't. There are no guarantees in life or trucking. England doesn't owe you a job. Hell, they already paid for your motel. What did they get in return? From now on, learn the requirements of the job. You need to pass the required physical/drug screening. You need to have a valid CDL. And, you need to demonstrate your ability to handle the equipment. Flunk any of those and you won't be hired. As for safety, dude, some of the truck stops are way worse. Go to West Memphis and park all the way in the back
at night. Go to Hunt's point in NYC. It sounds like you can't handle yourself when the going gets tough. As a truck driver, it's you and the truck. All alone in a strange town. Or on a lone interstate in Wyoming somewhere. If you ever do find an OTR job, you better be able to handle these situations as they come up. Good Luck!

So how does failing the physical justify what CR England has done? What the person who tried to justify what happened by saying that I failed to meet their requirements is like telling the victim of a crime that it is their fault what happened. What England did was inexcusable, no ifs ands or buts about it.
What happens when someone who fails CR Englands requirements is found face down in East Chicago or Hammond with a gunshot wound to their back that was emphatically most definetly not self-inflicted, is it the victim's fault? Because accoring to your logic, it can only be the victim's fault, and your attitude that what happened was my fault makes me sick to my stomach.

You failed to pass the physical. A condition of your employment and training is that you pass the physical and any drug/alcohol screens. Again Jesse...YOU did not meet those requirements. How was that dishonesty, Jesse??? How was that a mark of a "bad" company, Jesse??? Again, YOU...JESSE did NOT meet the requirements.
If the school or accomendations were not your liking, inform England. If the motel is unsafe then they will get you a better place, but not the Hilton!
