Craftmatic/Contour Beds BEWARE on all levels Pompano Beach Florida
You want to believe that there are legitimate companies out there and that what they say they will do, THEY DO.
Craftmatic is changing their name for a reason.....they have such a bad reputation they have to. Bad business practices/scare tactics etc.
Think twice b4 you apply for the contractor job doing in home presentations folks! They tell you you will get a 2k sign on bonus, what they don't tell you is that you have to hit 12 appointments in a week every week for 3 months and if you hit your 12 FULL presentations a week, which is impossible, you will get a third of the bonus per month.
They also tell you, they pay you for gas each week,$50...WRONG!!! You find out AFTER you have taken the job that you only get gas money at the end of the month and ONLY if you have 12 appointments. 12 FULL appointments. They also guarantee you 2-3 appts. PER DAY...WRONG again folks. You will be hard pressed to get 12 a week. They send you long distances and the leads are the worst .
The appt. setters lie to these old folks and do whatever it takes to get an appt....they promise them their chances of winning a piece of crap bed will be 6 times more possible if a rep can come and shove a bed down their throats using bait and switch tactics.
Don't even get us started on the sales approach, hmmmmmmmmm trying looking in the archives for INSIDE EDITION dated 3/6/08 and see exactly who they are. They also make you pay $200 deposit for their equipment and tell you, you will get the full amount back when you return all equipment..WRONG AGAIN!!! I have been waiting for 2 months folks!!!
DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOR....Do NOT apply for a job with Craftmatic or Contour or whomever they call themselves..Bad management, creepy owners and they lie, lie, lie.

Contour Beds
Beware of them and just do a Google search on them instead of taking my word for it....
(((ROR REDACTED)))
Somehow they got in contact with my wife and set up a sales call, I told the man who was very polite and took the time to appologize to him for wasting his time but I wasn't going to buy a thing and didn't even want to get the pitch but because I could tell he was a brand new salesman and probably didn't realize what he got into, on the surface it looks all nice, I let him come in and use the phone since he was required to call in and say he was there and that I did not want the pitch, then was told to let them speak to me who then began the pitch I told him repeatedly I was not intersted then finally the sales man, who remember was a good man, and we had a lot in common with our home situation, asked for the phone back and told the guy it just wasn't going to happen and he was going to leave in which he must have gotten a three minute lecture and finally said no and goodbye but since then we have gotten calls at all hours of the day from them and everytime I tell them not to call again and called them back at least four times after they had called and my wife answered because she is polite and always with a civil tongue I have asked them to stop the calls and we're even on the do not call list.
They've seem to have resorted to asking for her by name without introducing themselves and will hang up on me if tell them I am her husband who is calling.
Late last night we got a call the wife answered so I called back got a rapid fire salespitch to which I ended with my way in a few moments and told the woman not to call again and was about to tell her it was not the first time I had told them this but by then she had hung up so me being me I went to the FTC website, http://www.ftc.gov/ and filed a detailed report and now at 8:15 in the morning they called again.
I once again put an end to the gibberish but this guy was good and got a few punches in between my polite but stern words and I informed him I had filed the report and that I had at numerous times told them to stop calling.
If you have had anything similar to this happen to you or your parents or another friend or relative that you to file a report with the FTC or whatever Government branch your Country has to handle this kind of matter.
I have to say that I actually own two older Craftmatic beds, went through the same pitch but love to bargain and got a King sized with all the options for $1900 after they started at around 7k and it is the one I took apart for the parts and rebuilt for my wife, but if you do choose to buy one of these you should know that you can bargain them down to around 2k and once again don't take my word google it for yourself...

If you were truly from Fort Myers, Florida, then you would know that Fort Myers is spelled only one way "Fort Myers" without abbreviation. It burns me to no end when morons do not take the time to write a report about any company and then state that they are from that specific area when they do not know how to spell the city that they are supposedly from.
"Morons" in general, "The Ripoff Report", at one time was for legitimate complaints. Now, it seems, that people who do not know grammar, and syntax, proper capitalization, or spelling can air whatever is on their "little/feeble minds".
If you are going to complain about anything, make sure you have all of the facts before you open your mouth. Just because you are an American citizen, it does not give you a right to say anything, unless you are willing to become proactive via a grass roots method or whatever non-violent way in order to effect change.

Contour Adjustable Beds Still Beware

Well Anonymous a little over a year later and the B.S. still continues, only now with more bad business tactics.
Consumers: Forget about getting your refund back. The owner Larry Bardin changed the name of his company from M & J Systems to J & M Invest In Rest LLC
for a reason, to avoid the $1000's he owes customers for refunds on beds that they ordered and had been waiting (some over a month) to be delivered.
The employees who do work really hard to make sales for this company (yes, by lieing to the customers about the same sweepstakes and now a $500 certificate) have to wait weeks, even months to receive thier bonus money. We also found out that our insurance policy had been cancelled a month ago and yet the owner is still taking the insurance money out of our checks. And to top it off, Larry Bardin has been stealing hours off of our time cards!!!
Something seriously needs to be done with this man!!!
